FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
A: Yes. We offer 100% financing with low monthly payments over 12 months. This financing covers all types of remodeling and repairs, not just our roofing services. The only requirement that we have is that the project needs immediate work. These immediate services include any roofing, siding, and water mitigation problems that need urgent attention.
A: There is no limit. If your claim is denied, you have the option to file again. We complete most of our claims within a week. Some cases, however, might take up to 30 days, depending on each claim. Once we hear back from the insurance company regarding your claim, we will contact you.
A: We meet with your insurance adjuster and they come out to inspect the damages to your home after a storm. We will go over all of the details of what happened with your roof and why you believe their insurance policy should cover it. Unfortunately, in most cases, they deny these types of claims for one reason or another. However, it never hurts to refile a claim in case it gets approved on another look.
A: Your homeowner's insurance company will cover the total cost of a new roof. These include removing and disposal of your old roof, installing your new roofing materials, any extra tear-off charges, and repairs to your home that need completion while we do our work. We have an 80% success rate in getting free new roofs (minus your deductible) installed for homeowners.
A: Yes. Insurance adjusters work for the insurance companies, not you. Having Wells Roofing and Remodeling meet with the adjuster ensures that your interests are completely covered in our roofing services.
A: You are entitled to at least one re-inspection in most cases. Because of this, you might be able to get a second approval from the claim adjuster with another inspection.
A: No. The written, detailed estimates of your roof and repairs are valid and legally binding contracts. Failure to comply with the terms is insurance fraud. Generally, claims checks are made payable to you, the contractor, and your mortgage company. As a result, these payments protect all parties.
A: Yes. They want to make sure that the work is complete. Therefore, it is customary to withhold 25-33% until Wells Roofing and Remodeling certifies that all repairs are complete. This percentage is in the form of recoverable depreciation.
A: There are many ways you can avoid paying a deductible when filing an insurance claim. Ask us how and we can explain in detail so that we can assist with our roofing services.
A: The main three reasons are hail damage, wind creasing or breaking the adhesive seal of the shingles, and blown-off shingles from at least two sides of the roof. Your contractor must meet with the adjuster when they come out to your home to inspect your roof.
A: We will assist you with filing your roof claim, and we will handle all of the paperwork. We will also meet with the insurance adjuster when they come out to your home to inspect your roof and any other damages you may have.
